Week Ending On Valentine’s Day

Productive Week

If you have seen my previous posts you will see its been a very productive week.

I managed to rack up 31.6 miles this week. Over usual 5 days.

Mostly been steady running, Heart Rate no more than zones.

  • Zone 1 HR Max 154bpm
  • Zone 2 HR Max 163bpm

Which I maintained by well and managed to control for once.

Felt like I was walking not running.

How ever with the ‘Base’ training the fitness levels are definitely coming back.

I am also feeling a lot stronger as well after my slight break.

Mild niggles in November of and with work load in December being a huge set back.

Today’s Sunday long run, the HR was capped at 160 BPM.

To be honest felt like a brisk walk but then again who walks at 9minutes and 40 seconds which is more than double actual average walking pace

Fitness levels have made a huge improvement and back on track. Just need to listen to coach and not get over confident again.

It’s slow running that makes you faster.
