Used my camel back pack. Basically a ruck sack with a bladder with 2 litres of water in.

So started off carrying an extra 2kg of weight for first hour or so.

Went slow to work the slow twitch fibres ones needed for long distances. With extra weight they got that added work out.

Legs felt well and truly dead at the end.
